BREAKING NEWS:

It is with great excitement that Trinity's president, Dr. Harold F. Hunter, announces that Dr. Norman Geisler will be the keynote speaker for the 2008 Trinity Graduation Ceremony scheduled for August 2nd.

Dr. Norman Geisler is author or co-author of over sixty-eight books and hundreds of articles. He has taught at the university and graduate level for forty-eight years and has spoken or debated in all fifty states and in twenty-five countries. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Loyola University.  Dr. Geisler's outstanding achievements as an extraordinary scholar and gifted author have been noted world-wide especially in the areas of philosophy and Christian apologetics. For example, his four-volume Systematic Theology has been embraced as a resource of choice by veteran professors of the Bible as well as beginning seminarians. Dr. Geisler co-founded Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Because Dr. Norman Geisler is recognized around the world as a champion of the Christian faith and gifted theologian, Trinity is inviting all of our students, alumni, and friends to attend the Graduation Ceremonies on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at 10:00 in the morning (CST). Since there will very likely be limited seating for guests to hear this extraordinary keynote speaker, please contact the Executive Assistant to the President, Michelle Noble, at 812.853.0611, or email her at mnoble@trinitysem.edu and indicate if you intend to attend and the number that will accompany you. On Friday evening, August 1st, will be the annual Graduation Banquet. Dr. Geisler will probably not be present, but again, you have an invitation to attend this gala occasion but must make reservations with Michelle Noble no later than June 15th; we will take reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis until all the tables are filled.
